If your big day is around the corner then here are a few things you need to do beforehand!
Pay Attention to Your Skin
Nobody wants an ugly zit on their wedding day so to avoid this keep your skincare checked. For example if you have acne and redness then make an appointment to the dermatologist at least six months prior as the medicines might take time to work. Make sure you follow your skincare religiously and never sleep with your makeup on no matter how tired you are. This is because your skin needs to breathe at night and sleeping with makeup would clog your pores which would lead to more acne. Both bride and the groom need to go for monthly clean-ups/facials at least three months before the wedding. Remember it is not just about what you apply on your face but also what you feed your body. Your diet can give you the glowing skin which you are looking for. So stay away from oily foods and stick to clean eating, include things like cucumber, beetroot and green juices on your diet. You should drink a lot of water at least eight 8-ounce glasses daily. This will flush out all the toxins from your body and also help to keep your weight in check. Make sure you include some form of exercise, you don’t necessarily have to go to gym. It could be something like playing your favourite sport such as badminton or joining a dance class. Regular exercise will ensure that you get the natural blush on your big day.
Do Your Bookings Beforehand
During the wedding season it can get pretty hectic so make sure you book the wedding venue months ahead to avoid any disappointment. You should also inform the caterers beforehand, this will ensure that they don’t take orders from other people. If you plan on calling a specific makeup artist who would doll you up on your big day then make sure you book her in advance as well. Both bride and the groom should start their shopping earlier to ensure clothes don’t go out of stock. You should also inform the guests about your wedding date as soon as it is decided, so they would keep their day free for you.
De-Stress Yourself Occasionally
It can be quite hectic when planning your wedding. This is because you have to run around and distribute the invitations, you will also have check if the decoration is on point and whether the tailor has altered your dress properly. So to ensure that you truly enjoy your big day and cherish every moment of it, you need to de-stress yourself. So despite your busy schedule try to squeeze in at least one hour where you could relax yourself at spa. You can opt for different things for example one day you could go for a body massage and the other day you could do a hair massage at your favourite salon. Also make sure you have adequate sleep that is at least seven to eight hours of sleep. This will ensure you don’t have any heavy eye bags. Remember in order to look good you will have to feel good so do make time to pamper yourself.
